We were Waste Worriers!  But no longer! Meals left over from our Curry Night are given to the St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax where it is distributed to destitute people. Food scrapings are composted and used in our vegetable garden. No worries Waste Warriors! (Urgh!)

Saturday 24th September 7pm-10.30pm at Carlton URC Church, Harrison Road, Halifax we held a curry night in aid of Halifax Young Singers, a non-audition youth choir of outstanding quality for all children aged 10-20. Tickets were £10/£6 under 14.  We raised £550! Well done team! For details about the choir, contact Sue Rosborough, email halifaxyoungsingers@googlemail.com.
