How to use I spice World Famous Pakora Mix to make Spinach & Potato Pakora

Serves: 100g makes 2 - 3 portions
Making Spinach & Potato Pakora of superior quality can be tricky. Using our World Famous Pakora Mix and following this recipe will make it easy to produce light pakora of exceptional flavour!

Prepare:

1. Peel and cube 2 - 3 medium potatoes. Par-boil.

2. Wash & chop 2 large handfuls of fresh spinach, or 2 tablespoons tinned spinach leaf.

3. Put 100g World Famous Pakora Mix into large bowl. Gradually add water from tin/up to 2 fl.oz cold water until mix begins to soften.

4. Add spinach. Mix thoroughly.

5. Add Potato. Mix thoroughly.

6. Form into rough 'coins' for shallow fry, 'balls' for deep fry, ¾cm approx



Cook:

1. Deep or shallow fry (170 C/190 C) until golden.

2. Add extra salt to taste.

*We prefer to deep fry using peanut oil as this produces a light product. However other oils can be used.
