Sweet Spring Rolls

Serves: 30 portions
Crunchy, juicy vegetables with a fresh, sweet taste.


700g of mixed vegetables of choice, chopped

35g garlic paste

35g ginger

1 ½ level teaspoons (tsp) 5 spice

1 level tsp salt

Sunflower oil

Sesame oil (optional)

1 level tablespoon (tblsp) Shoyo

1 ½ level tblsp Kekap Manis


1. Heat a small amount of sunflower oil in wok.

2. Add garlic & ginger. Cook slowly on a low heat to darken a little.

3. Add 5 spice, mix well. If too dry, add a drop of oil. Cook for a few seconds.

4. Add vegetables. Mix thoroughly, still on a low heat.

5. Add salt.

6. Turn heat up high and keep stirring for 3 minutes.

7. Soy sauces in. Stir thoroughly for 30 seconds. Heat off.

8. Leave to cool completely before making into rolls.
